The Albatross Fleet has been part of Hatteras Island since 1937, when Ernal Foster launched what became one of the first offshore charter boats in the region. Built with rounded sterns, simple working lines and the unmistakeable red and white candy striped riggers, the boats helped shape the early identity of sport fishing along the Outer Banks.
